The Exit Room

Yet another short that has fallen onto my lap and rather pleased it did. I found this whilst looking for  Exit (showcased 2 weeks back) and had been waiting for an opportune time to view it. Love the concept and its a scary thing, war, and the very harsh and brutal realities those that are caught in it have to face.

It is 2021, and imprisoned journalist Joseph Michaels faces government execution as he contemplates a desperate escape attempt in order to return to his wife and new-born in The Exit Room.

Late Bloomer

Directed by Craig Macneill and written by Clay McLeod Chapman this official selection at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival is an exploration of one the most traumatizing and awkward of school experience -> sex ed class. A rather amusing take, inspired by the dark tales of H.P Lovecraft, I kept on expecting for smoke and gruesome vaginas and penises to take shape and have the poor class in their thrall.  Late Bloomer is a compelling and humorous short film about 7th grade sex ed class gone horribly wrong.
